History
Headquarter DREHMO GmbH, Wenden, Germany
- 1946: EMG was founded to continue the production of the AEG Berlin factories.
- 1960: EMG became responsible for several product lines, one of them AEG/EMG valve actuators under the brand name DREHMO.
- 1976: EMG invented the patented new gear design for the eccentric planetary gear; the idea for the future was born.
- 1984: EMG started the direct international sales activities with several new factories and own sales offices worldwide.
- 1996: After the restructuring of the AEG group, EMG took the chance to improve it's own organization, optimizing production facilities and network.
- 1999: EMG transferred the business of DREHMO valve actuators into a profit centre unit. The idea was to create a more customer focused and market oriented self-standing company.
- 2000: The company DREHMO GmbH started all activities for sales, service and product development of EMG valve actuators.
