DREHMO-i-matic Functionality
Data and Parameters
Documentation
Actuator- and motor data of the device can be stored in the actuator and read out via DCS or notebook with the i-matic-explorer.
The according data are:
- motor data
- electrical data
- TAG-number
and many more.
Manufacturer's data of the electronic nameplate are stored in our workshop. After later modification the data can be changed via notebook and IR-interface or DCS-system.
Operating data logging
After later modification the data can be changed via notebook and IR-interface or DCS-system.
Number of starts per hour (c/h):
The µC permanently calculates an average of starts per hour and compares it to the maximum allowed value. Exceeding the max. value leads to a warning message.
Cummulated number of starts
Every motor start is added to a counter. After maintenance the counter can be reseted.
Operating time counter
The total time of running motor is measu- red. After maintenance the counter can be reseted.
Torque characteristics
Torque values between 33 % and 100 % of nominal torque are measured.
Further several torque curves can be stored and evaluated to the current status of the valve.
The operating data can be shown by the central DCS visualization or by the local notebook. Stored characteristics can be put there on top of each other and compared to each other for demand-oriented maintenance of valves.
FDT / DTM
The FDT (Field device tool) technology standardizes the development of communication components between field devices and engineering systems. The FDT technology allows the manufacturers of appliances to create software tools for a sophisticated parameterisation, diagnosis and maintenance of field devices.
The DTM (Device Type Manager) may be compared to a printer driver. Like the printer driver adapts the print data to the specific printer, the DTM provides the interface for parameterisation and diagnosis for the respective field device. All interfaces and protocols are standardized.
The DREHMO DTM offers the possibility of parameterisation and diagnosis of the DREHMO i-matic actuators independent of existing systems. The DREHMO DTM complies with the valid specification version 1.2.n of the Joint Interest Group and is testet by means of official certification tools. In field operation all device specific data can be parameterised and overwritten non-volatily from remote engineering station by FDT interface. The presentation and handling of the user interface is in accordance to the actual DTM-Style-Guide. Documentation and diagnosis as well as the read out of the operation data are possible via this interface. The hierachical well-defined structured treeview of the parameter list satisfies the demands for a uniform handling-philosophy as implemented in the already available tools "i-matic explorer" and "DDL for Simatic PDM". The DREHMO DTM enables the access to all the available data of actuators and motors stored in the actuator.
