A DREHMO actuator that has been properly commissioned and is operated as intended normally requires very little intensive maintenance over the long term.

However, to ensure the continued reliable operation and availability of the installed actuators, we recommend that our specialists perform regular checks, inspections, and, if necessary, repairs of the DREHMO actuators as part of a preventive maintenance program.

This recommendation applies in particular when actuators are subjected to specifically high loads (e.g., in special control actuators). Loads on actuators include not only torque utilization, output speeds, and switching frequency, but also external influences acting on the actuator. These can include, in particular, elevated temperatures, system-related vibrations/oscillations/shocks, dirt, moisture, and aggressive environmental conditions (e.g., gases, liquids).

DREHMO offers you customized maintenance packages that can cover almost all actuator variants.

These maintenance packages can apply to specific, selected actuators, plant components, or complete systems. Upon request, these maintenance packages can be contractually agreed upon through a customized scope of work. Typically, the maintenance and inspection measures are structured in multiple stages and include services that are tailored based on time intervals and utilization rates. In this context, u.

Example of a Maintenance and Inspection Plan

• First stage: Simple inspection 2 years after the initial commissioning of the actuators for all actuator types.
• Second stage: Initial full inspection 5 years after the actuators were first put into service for heavily used (prior classification/rating required) control actuators (in cases of high ambient temperature, high switching frequency, high control torques, etc.).
• Third stage: Recurring/supplementary full inspection 5 years after the initial commissioning of the actuators for all control actuators and heavily loaded control drives.

A DREHMO maintenance service thus ensures that high system availability is maintained through needs-based maintenance measures and that targeted and rapid assistance can be provided in the event of a problem.
